Class Schedule
The California School of Law's virtual classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm–9:00pm Pacific Time (9:00pm–12:00am Eastern Time). Students take two classes a night, the first from 6:00pm–7:30pm PT (9:00pm–10:30pm ET) and a second from 7:30pm–9:00pm PT (10:30pm–12:00am ET). When class size permits, a 4:30pm PT (7:30pm ET) start will be scheduled.
The California School of Law is on a trimester system. Each trimester lasts four months, equivalent to a traditional law school semester. Classes meet 30 times in each course, per trimester, with mid-terms and a final exam, as at traditional residential law schools. Class time is only a portion of the study time required to earn a Juris Doctorate. To see the study time required to complete the Juris Doctorate program, go to Hours of Study
